The throwing axe includes a heavy duty nylon holster and a metal clip that will hold your axe to your belt. This makes it easy to grab and maneuver, or to have quickly on hand. On the back of the axe head is a pick. This pick has a sharp point that could pierce nearly anything. When thrown it will not only multiply the piercing force, but it also acts as a balance. Balancing the axe head is important for the free spinning nature. For ease of maintenance, the head of the axe can be removed. It comes with an Allen key tool. Removing the axe head is often preferred for a professional edge and sharpening. After a good sharpening session, this axe will be as sharp as a razor and holds it’s edge extremely well.
